We know that traveling can seem expensive but in reality most countries currencies multiply our US dollar by a lot. For example $1 USD= 16 South African Zar, 20 Mexican Pesco, and 18 Egyptian pound (foreign currency exchange rates change everyday so this will always differ day to day).

Our goal is to make traveling internationally affordable. We want to teach you how to travel like a budget backpack traveler and really get the most bang for your buck. The most expensive part of your trip should be your flight. Once you reach a destination where your USD is multiplied the trip in itself should become very inexpensive and affordable.

We recommend using sites like Hopper.com, Skyscanner.com, or Skiplagged. Putting your flights on layaway and paying monthly is also another option, especially for families and those who have children and need to book more then one international flight together at one time. Different flight layaway websites are Justfly.com, air fordable.com, and PaylaterTravel just to name a few. Please be sure to do your research for the best flight deals.

Most travel companies focus in on luxury!!! You can go to Mexico where the USD should go a long way and end up still paying thousands of dollars because of US based prices instead of local style prices. Our goal is to make your travel experience fun and educational. We don’t want you cooped up in a hotel room or resort. We want you eating the native food, visiting the tribes and learning the cultural history of the places you travel to. The goal is to do as much and see as much as you can for the best local currency price not the US luxury price while still maintaining a upscale level of hotel accommodations and services.
